Hi Everyone,

The wedding is one week away!  Exactly, one week in fact since it is 3pm now and that is the time that the ceremony will begin.  Brian and I, along with a lot of help from our family and friends, are finishing up all of the details and plans for our big wedding weekend!  Brian and I will be hosting Game Night on Saturday, August 10 at the Inn at Middletown.  Everyone that is in town on Saturday is welcome to join us.  We are planning on providing pizza and drinks (beer, wine, soda).  This gathering is kid friendly and will begin at about 6:30 pm.  Please feel free to stop by for dinner and games, or just for games if you prefer to have dinner on your own (Middletown is a cute town with many options).

Brian and I have scheduled a shuttle to run between the hotel and the Barns on Sunday.  There will be two runs in the afternoon, one at 2:00 pm and one at 2:30pm.  There is plenty of parking on site at the venue, as well.   Our ceremony begins at 3pm and the celebration at the Barns will last until 9:30.  The shuttle will return to the hotel after the reception.  The shuttle will begin returning at about 9:20pm and will run until everyone who needs a ride has returned safely to the hotel.  Once back at the hotel, we are planning to continue the party at the Tavern, the bar in the lobby of the Inn.  We will gather here for awhile and anyone is welcome to bring an instrument to play acoustically while we hang together for a little while longer.  If we end up closing down the bar, we have an alternate location in the hotel to continue having good times.

Brian and I are hosting a brunch on Monday morning.  The brunch will be held a little cafe down the street, Cafe 56.  Please stop by, eat breakfast, say farewell, and allow us to thank you once more for traveling to celebrate our marriage.  Brunch will be buffet style and will be ongoing from 9:00-11:30am.  Please arrive whenever you would like.  Feel free to stop by and grab a cup of coffee and breakfast bites to go if you need to hit the road early.
